State of Search Digital Marketing Conference November 4-5, 2019

Posted on October 30, 2019 Written by Bill Hartzer

State of Search Jenny Halasz

The Dallas/Fort Worth Search Engine Marketing Association, an organization I helped found back in 2004, is holding it’s annual State of Search conference November 4-5, 2019. I’m the conference Chair this year–and it’s being held again at the famous Gilley’s Dallas, just south of Downtown Dallas.

This year we have over 30 speakers, speaking on topics like SEO, PPC, Social Media, Paid Search (Facebook ads, LinkedIn ads), Instagram Twitter, Local SEO, Email Delivery, and Influencer Marketing. The biggest addition to the conference this year is the Site Review sessions that we’ll be holding alongside the rest of the sessions (except during our Keynote addresses). There are five great keynotes:

Jenny Halasz
David Mihm
Eric Enge
Greg Gifford
Duane Forrester

Our invite-only speaker dinner is being held November 3rd at a local venue, and the conference kicks off first thing Monday morning November 4, 2019 with a keynote by Jenny Halasz.

Sign up to get your website reviewed by one of our experts, all of which are digital marketing veterans. There’s a signup form on the website https://www.stateofsearch.org. The full conference agenda is posted on the site–we have a limited number of tickets still available as of right now, when I’m posting this.

Register at https://www.stateofsearch.org/register You can use the promo code “Hartzer2019” for a discount off of the current ticket price. Feel free to contact me if you’d like to register more than 3 people (for a separate discount).

Here’s the full press release:

Dallas-Fort Worth Search Engine Marketing Association Hosting Digital Marketing Conference Nov. 4-5

Attendees to get a unique opportunity to receive website reviews and learn about the new Google BERT update.

DALLAS – The Dallas-Fort Worth Search Engine Marketing Association is hosting the State of Search digital marketing conference in Dallas on Nov. 4-5 – an opportunity for attendees to hear from the top digital marketing experts, receive website reviews and learn about Google’s most important update in five years – BERT.

Jenny Halasz, Google Analytics expert and President and Founder of JLH Marketing, is scheduled to kick off the keynote speakers on Nov. 4 with her presentation “Your Search Diet: How Not to OverEAT.”

Other keynote speakers include local SEO expert David Mihm, Vice President of Product Strategy at ThriveHive, and Greg Gifford, a popular SEO speaker at conferences worldwide.

Gifford is scheduled to speak about SEO capabilities for Local Search. “My presentation will focus on opening people’s eyes to the fact that they probably need to be doing Local SEO for some (or all) of their clients,” Gifford said. “It’s also going to cover entity-based search – how Google uses real-world signals as ranking signals – and how the people doing traditional SEO can see what’s coming in the future by looking at Local SEO.”

Eric Enge, General Manager of Digital Marketing at Perficient Digital, will start off day two followed by Duane Forrester, Vice President of Industry Insights for Yext.

SEO, SEM, Paid Search, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Advertising, Social Media, and Influencer Marketing are just some of the topics that will be discussed by speakers.

Whether you’re a seasoned pro with 15 years in the field or new to the game, the State of Search conference is a great way to grow your skills and enhance your SEO capabilities.

The conference venue is the iconic Gilley’s Dallas.
