Google Expands Dallas Office in Addison, Texas

Google Dallas office

Based on some photos that my friend Daniel posted today, it appears that Google has quietly opened (expanded?) up a Dallas, Texas area office. As you might recall, Google has had offices in the Dallas area previously, and it has been years since Google had an office in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. With the amount of business that I know Google has been receiving from Dallas-area businesses over the years, I’m surprised that Google hasn’t officially had an office here. Google closed their Dallas office 10 years ago, in 2008.

Based on Daniel’s photos, it appears that this new Google office is in Addison, at 15303 Addison Parkway, Suite 1200, Addison, TX 75001. Scott + Reid General Contractors are handling the Google Expansion:

Google’s name is on the door, so it I guess it’s official. Here are a few more photos from this first event held at Google Dallas, which is a Mobile Design workshop.

Personally, I think Google finally opening an office again in the Dallas/Fort Worth area is a big deal–they were here 10 years ago but left. Now business is booming again here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and Google is back. Now if we could just get Google to recognize our successful Dallas/Fort Worth Search Engine Marketing Association and the future of Dallas SEO here in our area, that would be great.

I’m not exactly sure when this particular Google Dallas office opened–and some have suggested that it has been here in Dallas (Addison) for some time. If you have details about Google previously being at this address, get in touch with me, I’d like to hear about it.

Based on a Google search, it appears that the only tenant that was listed at the 15303 Addison Parkway, Suite 1200, Addison, TX 75001 address was Savillis Studley, as there are listings like Superpages and Foursquare listings for that business at that address (Suite 1200). So, it does appear that this is a new location/address for Google.
