Google Ads Phone Support Not Accepting Phone Calls

Posted on March 24, 2020 Written by Bill Hartzer

Google Ads Phone Support

Google Ads Support is not currently accepting any phone calls. When you call the phone number for Google Ads phone support, which is 1-866-246-6453, you get a recorded message that they are not accepting any phone calls. The automated message (which is a computer-type voice and not a human-recorded voice) says that they are not accepting phone calls. They then go on to say that they are not accepting phone calls because they are protecting their employees from the effects of COVID-19 and the Coronavirus.

I first tried to call the phone number and it could not be connected. Apparently they are getting too many calls. Then, when it did finally connect, the following statement was given by a computer-like voice:

Hi, welcome to Google Ads. Thank you for calling Google Ads customer support. Phone support is currently unavailable due to the preventive measures we’re taking to protect the health of our support specialists in light of COVID-19. We encourage you to visit our Google Ads help center for additional resources by clicking on the contact us link we provided by our available support options. We apologize for any inconvenience this may caused and appreciate your patience during this time.

Then, they automatically hang up on you. For companies that are spending thousands (or hundreds of thousands?) of dollars every month, not having a phone number to call, to talk to a human, is unacceptable.
