As I previously reported, Apple is registering nonsense domain names and then deleting them after three years. This latest round of dropped and deleted domain names involves 21 domain names.
Back in 2013, Apple, through, CSC Corporate Domains, registered domains like bwquoihxxvscvjj.com and then, three years later (within a few days), they were deleted from the registration and no longer hosted. These domains typically are .COM, .NET, and .INFO domain names.
From this latest round of deleted domains, there were 21 domain names total:

Since I uncovered the fact that Apple is registering nonsense domain names, obviously using them for something–and then deleting them, the reason behind this remains a mystery. Based on what I’ve seen before with these domains, it appears that they’re hosted on an Amazon server for a period of time–and then deleted at some point. I reported back in 2014 that these domains were pointing to an Amazon Linux AMI Test page.
