Posted on January 26, 2007 Written by Bill Hartzer

Agency.com has opened a second office in Italy, an office in the Capital city of Rome. Agency.com’s Milan office was successful, so Franco Ricchiuti, Amministratore Delegato of Agency.com, will oversee both office in Italy.

Franco Ricchiuti has been with Agency.com since the opening of the Milan office in 2006 and has been in the interactive industry for over ten years.

“Rome is a significant market place for our industry and it is important that Agency.com creates a presence there as part of the TBWA\Italia group,” commented Franco Ricchiuti on the launch. “TBWA\ already has a strong market share and we intend to grow the interactive offering of the TBWA\ group.”

“This is another important step for Agency.com and the whole TBWA\Group to follow on, even in Rome, the strategy of integration among the different communication skills and offerings,” said Marco Fanfani, CEO of TBWA\ Italia.

“The past twelve months have been about European expansion, growing the Agency.com network from 6 offices globally, to 10. In the past year we have added offices in Brussels, Dublin, Milan and Rome, with further European and Asian outputs to be announced soon,” commented David Eastman, Worldwide CEO of Agency.com. “Rome presents a vibrant marketplace with some exciting clients and we look forward to helping those clients grow their interactive offerings.”

Agency.com Rome clients include Nissan (www.nissan.it), Eni (www.agip.it) and Sony Playstation.
