ProfileBuilder is an online identity management platform that allows you to take complete control of your online identity. Integrating ZingFu.com and ProfileBuilder will allow you, a registered ZingFu user, to enhance your online presence with ProfileBuilder and manage it with the Profil.es site.
As part of the agreement, ZingFu will still be a fully-functioning website. ZingFu’s founder, Robert Ralian, will join ProfileBuilder and will continue to manage the site. ZingFu.com is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

This acquisition announcement was made at the TechCrunch40 event being held in San Francisco, California. ProfileBuilder also announced that they are partnering with mebeam.com, an internet-based service that enables you to “instantly and easily video conference with up to eight of your friends and business associates for free.” As part of the partnership, Profil.es users will be able to add a mebeam channel to their Profil.es and videoconference for free right from their Profil.es.
Using ProfileBuilder, you can create, manage, and consolidate your online identity using Profil.es, a Web-based product that gives you a single, comprehensive platform to manage, enhance and control your online persona. Profil.es can include different channels — blogs, photos, videos, resume, skills, even Twitter. Using an easy-to-use set of tools, you can customize your Profil.es, control visibility and access, and track in-depth stats on performance and activity.
Profil.es uniquely identifies who you are. Currently in beta, Profil.es was created by Profile Builder, a company that develops products to enhance your online identity. Profile Builder LLC, founded by Boyan Josic in 2007, develops products to enable connectivity between online social profiles. The company launched its flagship product, Profil.es, into beta in July 2007. Josic has founded several companies, including Privatas Equity Holdings, a Private Equity firm, and BOSSdev, an IT consulting company.
