I have a friend who currently has a job opening for a Search Engine Marketing / Search Engine Optimization / Social Media job in the Dallas, Texas area. This is a full-time in-house marketing position, and the person will handle all of the marketing, search engine marketing, social media marketing, and search engine optimization for the company’s two websites.
The company is a family-owned business located in the Design District in Dallas, which is close to Downtown Dallas. It’s easily accessible from Interstate 35E and the DART light rail system.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
– Two years of marketing, social media, and internet marketing experience
– Familiar with Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, and Instagram
– Customer Service experience
– Familiar with the Microsoft Office product suite
– An Associates or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or similar specialty
– Experience with HTML, WordPress, or similar website CMS tools
– Excellent communication and writing skills.
