An Interactive Marketing Agency based in Dallas, Texas that specializes in the Travel industry is seeking a new Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Coordinator. This is an entry level position and ongoing training will be provided, however strong communication skills and an internet savvy attitude are required. Bilingual individuals (ideally native Spanish speakers) are also preferred.
Summary
Search Engine Optimization is a discipline within Internet Marketing that helps ensure that our client Websites’ show up in the Search Results of Google, Yahoo! and Bing. For many websites up to 70% of their traffic can be derived from Search. This individual will work with our Search Engine Optimization team to provide support services.
Responsibilities include:
— Assist in the preparation of monthly client reports (understanding of Excel is important for this role).
— Help identify new linking opportunities by reviewing potential websites to ensure they are relevant to our client and are a quality site.
— Submit requests to third party vendors to solicit pricing and information on new link or advertising opportunities.
— Assistance in the updating of progress reports to ensure all projects stay on target.
Qualifications:
— Search Marketing experience is a plus, but not required for this position. Complete training of responsibilities outlined above will be provided.
— Strong organizational skills a must. Individual will have to keep track of the status on dozens of requests at the same time.
— Solid communication skills (both written and verbal).
— Proficient at Microsoft Excel.
— Avid web surfer.
