Pubcon, founded in a London pub in 2000, has been a trusted partner through every major SEO revolution over the past 25 years. As they celebrate this milestone, Pubcon remains at the forefront, guiding professionals through the latest and most significant shifts in search. They invite attendees to continue this journey and turn the current industry chaos into opportunities for growth.
As they kick off their 25th year, planning is already underway for another outstanding conference.
Highlights include:
Oct 14: Pubcon Masters Group with three tracks (SEO, PPC, and the exclusive AI or DIE workshops)
Oct 15-16: Four-track conference and trade show
Oct 16: Special event celebrating 25 years of Pubcon at the Pub!
Every year at this time (for several years in the past) I have hand-picking a list of speakers that I recommend you meet and see speak–the information they bring to the industry and what you’ll learn from them is invaluable. For all of the major search conferences, whether I’m speaking or not, you may be familiar with my list, called Bill’s List. I have been hand picking the best of the best speakers to meet and see speak at the conference. PubCon Las Vegas 2024 is no different, and I thought it was time to bring back Bill’s List.
I’ve hand picked the best of the best, the top speakers that you personally should get to know. You need to go see them speak. And connect with them. They’re all really good at what they do, and you should get to know them, talk to them, pick their brain, and, of course, hire them.
Bill’s List of Speakers
Here’s Bill’s List for Pubcon Las Vegas 2024. By no means is this list in any sort of order of importance: to make it fair for everyone listed, I’ve used a random list generator to put the list in a random order after I hand-picked the speakers. And yes, I even used ChatGPT to help me randomize the list this time. So, without further adieu, here’s Bill’s List for Pubcon Las Vegas 2024.

I’ve personally witnessed all of these speakers in action and am well aware of their expertise, whether through industry events, their online content, or from having worked or spoken with them directly. This list isn’t made lightly. Earning a spot on Bill’s List requires more than just showing up—you have to demonstrate value in one way or another. While there are some additional proprietary ranking factors that go into the algorithm, those are my trade secrets. And no, nobody has ever paid to be on Bill’s List (that was a joke earlier). It’s not for sale, but many have expressed their gratitude for being included in the past.
As I’ve said before, each time I publish Bill’s List before a Pubcon event or a major search conference, I carefully hand-select every speaker. I take many factors into account, such as whether I’ve heard them speak before, the relevance of their topic, and whether I’ve met them and can personally vouch for their professional contributions.
