The .POST domain, the global identifier for logistics, supply chain, and secure delivery services, is opening its virtual auction doors to industry leaders. The event takes place during the Parcel+Post Exhibition and Conference from October 22-24, 2024, in Amsterdam.

This virtual auction is a big chance for businesses to grab premium keywords in their field. From logistics firms to supply chain specialists, this is an opportunity to register exclusive .POST domains that align perfectly with their services and products.

“.POST stands as a beacon of trust in international trade and shipping,” said Lati Matata, Director of the Postal Technology Centre at the Universal Postal Union (UPU). “It’s the only top-level domain backed by a UN agency, ensuring the highest standards for secure, cross-border commerce.”

Supported by the UPU, a specialized agency under the United Nations, .POST represents a seal of credibility. It’s recognized by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) as the global top-level domain for supply chain security. Applicants must meet strict verification standards, enhancing trust and reliability within global trade networks.

Tom Barrett, President of ICANN Registrar EnCirca, shared his excitement about the auction, stating, “This is a landmark moment. By securing these domains, businesses can establish their online presence as trustworthy leaders in the supply chain world. It’s a rare opportunity before eligibility widens in future phases.”
