.Photos, .Shoes, .Recipes, .Careers gTLD Domain Registrations Now Open

Posted on March 5, 2014 Written by Bill Hartzer

Today, Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at 10:00am Central Time, the non-eap registration started for the gTLDs .photos, .recipes, .shoes, and .careers domain names. That means that you can freely go register any available domain names that end in .photos, .shoes, .recipes, or .careers and you don’t have to pay the “premium” price that was previously offered.

As of last check, and as of making this post, there are actually a few “good” gTLD domains that are still available:

restaurant.careers
cannabis.shoes
o.photos

I compiled a quick list of some domains that I think are valuable that are still available for registration (again, as of the time of this post). I personally like the single-letter domains, and am surprised that there are quite a few of those available. Also, many of the “city” and “State” domains are available in .careers which seems as though no-brainers to me. Here’s what I found, feel free to register any of these at your favorite registrar.
