As you might know by now, one of the things that I follow on a regular basis is the domain names that companies register. Quite often, when companies register domain names, they’re related to upcoming products, services, or other future plans that the company has. Sometimes those plans get changed, or the domain registration is just an offensive move to make sure that someone else doesn’t register the domain.
Microsoft Corporation just registered two interesting domain names:
Micrositcom.com
Micrositcom.net
Certainly, I wouldn’t be surprised if there was an upcoming sitcom related to Microsoft. I could see Duane Forrester, from Bing, having an interesting role.
A Google search for “micrositcom” doesn’t really bring up anything interesting or related to Microsoft. So, who knows what the plans are?
