2007 Web 2.0 Summit Program Lineup

O’Reilly Media and CMP Technology have just announced the official lineup of speakers for the 4th annual Web 2.0 Summit. This year it will be held at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco, California from October 17 to October 19, 2007.

The 2007 Web 2.0 Summit is being moderated by John Battelle from Federated Media and Tim O’Reilly of O’Reilly Media. According to O’Reilly Medi and CMP Technology, the highlight of the 2007 Web 2.0 Summit will be an evening (dinner) keynote with Rupert Murdoch, Chairman and CEO of News Corp, and Chris DeWolfe, CEO and co-founder of MySpace.

Others that are scheduled to be in attendance are Randall Stephenson, CEO of AT&T, Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft, Dr. J. Craig Venter of the J. Craig Venter Institute, Meg Whitman, CEO of eBay, Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook.

A lot of other industry insiders will be at the 2007 Web 2.0 Summit, including:

The 2007 Web 2.0 Summit is the a great place to network and to learn the latest about Web 2.0, social networking, and social bookmarking. There’s supposed to be a “sponsor gallery” with sponsors like Nokia, Adobe, AOL, Etelos, and HP.

The 2007 Web 2.0 Summit limits the total number of attendees in order to “foster a more intense dialogue among participants”.
