The Latest from Bill Hartzer: Domain Name and SEO Speaker
November 2016 – I presented a sponsored session on Advanced Link Training at the State of Search conference, held in Dallas, Texas. Majestic.com sponsored the session.
June 2016 – I spoke about New gTLD Domain Names and the Not Com Revolution at the Rocks Digital Conference, held in Addison, Texas.
October 2015 – I spoke in two separate sessions at the PubCon conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. I presented during the SEO Fundamentals session, as well as the Search and Social Content Strategy session.
I recently worked on a video training series on SEO topics with etraining:
June 2015 – I spoke at the Domain Name Association meeting at the ICANN 53 Meeting in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This was a followup to my white paper that I wrote for the Domain Name Association. You can download the white paper on the Domain Name Association website.
June 2015 – I spoke about the “Back to the Future of SEO” at the ClickZ Live Toronto conference in Toronto, Canada.
April 20, 2015 – I was in Austin, Texas at the PubCon Austin conference. I spoke about Search, SEO, and Social Media in the “Search and Social” session, along with Mindy Weinstein from Bruce Clay, Inc. This is a session that we’ve done before several times, and one of my favorite sessions at search conferences. I also moderated other sessions at this conference. Here’s a link to my social and search presentation that you can review, below:
March 31, 2015 to April 1, 2015 – I made an appearance at the MarTech conference, held in San Francisco, California. As a US Brand Ambassador for Majestic.com, I spent time at the conference helping answer questions about Majestic and links.
March 2 to 4, 2015 – I made an appearance at the SMX West 2015 Conference in San Jose, California. I presented in the HTTPS session about secure websites, along with Garry Illyes from Google and Eric Enge from Stone Temple Consulting. And as a US Brand Ambassador for Majestic.com, I spent plenty of time at the Majestic.com booth.
February 27, 2015 – I presented at the SearchFest conference held The Sentinel Hotel [Formerly The Governor Hotel] in Portland, Oregon. As an SEO speaker, my session was pretty technical, about how to perform a highly technical SEO Audit. If you missed SearchFest or my session, you’ll want to read the NetBiz write-up here. Here’s my presentation, embedded below:
January 11 to 14, 2015 – I spoke at the NamesCon conference again this year, held in Las Vegas, Nevada. I presented in a few SEO-related sessions–and presented more results from my New gTLD vs. .Com Domain Name research.
December 9 and 10, 2014 – I made an appearance at the Dallas Digital Summit conference, held at the Irving Convention Center in Las Colinas, Texas (near Dallas). As an official Majestic Ambassador, I helped out at their booth.
November 18, 2014 – As an SEO speaker, I spoke at the State of Search Conference about the latest Google Algorithm Updates.
October 10, 2014 – I spoke about Social Media and SEO at the Pubcon Conference held in Las Vegas from October 6 to 10, 2014. This was another great conference, and I even wrote a post about the speakers at Pubcon Las Vegas 2014. This past week, another notable event was the banning of TopSEOs.com.
August 8, 2014 – Due to the recent changes that Google has announced (https is now a search engine ranking factor), I completed the move from http://www.billhartzer.com to https://www.billhartzer.com, making my whole entire website secure and on https rather than http. It didn’t take that long for the switch to take place–as my web host, Hostdime, was very helpful in making this happen. I posted on the results, as there are some interesting issues to deal with when moving from http to https.
August 2, 2014 – Interested in getting some Advanced Link Training? Well, here was your chance. In September 2014, I taught an evening seminar on linking, link analysis, and using the Majestic SEO tool. I started off with some basic link concepts but quickly advanced into the more technical, difficult part of linking. We talked link building, link earning, link analysis, and cleaning up a website’s link profile. The evening quickly sold out, and we plan on holding another Advanced Link Building evening again soon.
August 1, 2014 – I spoke at the Dallas/Fort Worth SEO Meetup event that was held on August 12, 2014. I spoke about the latest Google algorithm updates, including Google Panda, Google Penguin, and the latest update: Google Pigeon.
Search Engine Optimization, SEO and Social Media Speaker
Because of my extensive knowledge and over 18 years of hands-on organic (natural) search engine optimization experience, my peers in the SEO industry rely on me as a public speaker to educated them about the latest search engine optimization tips and techniques. I regular speak on the national search engine optimization conference level, and speak regularly at conferences such as the Search Engine Strategies (now called ClickZ Live) and Pubcon conferences several times each year.
