Imre Communications has acquired the online marketing company MDV Communications. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
According to information released today, Imre Communications acquired MDV Communications because they want to “offer clients a more robust platform of digital services and counsel, including Web 2.0 strategies such as strategic Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Marketing (SEM) as well as blog strategy, Web site development, content syndication and online data analysis.”
MDV Communications has headquarters in Baltimore Maryland, but will move to the Imre Communications’ offices within the next two months. MDV Communications’ employees and clients will begin operating under the Imre Communications’ management effective August 1st (today).
Imre Communications’ digital division will be headed by Marci De Vries, vice president, digital communications; Galen Palmer, technical director; and Ray Van Hilst, director, digital communications.
