Google to Buy Chelsea Market for $2B Yet Google My Business Listing is Unclaimed

Posted By Bill Hartzer on February 8, 2018at 10:55 am

Google is reportedly buying the Chelsea Market Building in Manhattan, New York for $2 Billion US Dollars. However, the Google Maps listing remains unclaimed and not verified at Google’s own service, Google My Business.

Chelsea Market Building Google Listing

If you search for the Chelsea Market on Google, you’ll see that there is a Google local listing for the business called “Chelsea Market Building”. It has an address of 75 9th Ave, New York, NY 10011 and a phone number of (212) 652-2110. There are 12,641 Google reviews of this business on Google.

It seems to me that Google could, fairly easily, make sure that this business listing is verified, as it is a quite popular location in New York, New York. Perhaps one of the first orders of business, once Google moves in should be that they verify their Google My Business listing.
