Facebook announced Facebook Home, which turns any Android smartphone into a Facebook phone. According to Mashable, Mark Zuckerberg said that “You’re going to be able to turn your Android phone into a great social device”.
OK, fine. I have an iPhone and Facebook works just fine on it.
But what’s interesting, is that Facebook, after planning on Facebook Home for a while now, failed to secure all of the associated Facebook Home domain names.
FacebookHome.com was created way back in 2007.
But, Facebook doesn’t current own these:
FacebookHome.net – currently a domain parked at Sedo.com.
FacebookHome.org – currently a domain parked at Sedo.com.
FaceboohHome.biz – not owned by Facebook.
Facebook just recently (in the past 24 hours) acquired FacebookHome.info.
Surely, Facebook, with all of the domain name issues they have had in the past, could get Godaddy to do something about this trademarked domain?
