New App Sociall Promises to Kill Social Media Ads

Posted on February 28, 2025 Written by Bill Hartzer

Sociall

Sociall combines all your Social Media feeds (posts, reels, stories), DMs, and posting, while blocking all the annoying stuff like ads, unfollowed content, and data collection. It works for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X (Twitter), and LinkedIn. Get access via their Kickstarter today! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/tylerpoe/sociall-all-your-social-media-in-one-app

A new app is taking a swing at social media giants by blocking ads, stopping data tracking, and combining all your feeds in one place. Sociall, now live on Kickstarter, brings together posts, stories, reels, and direct messages from Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok—without the clutter.

Big social networks have long relied on ad revenue and data collection to stay profitable. Sociall is flipping the script by offering users a way to browse without being bombarded by unwanted content. No targeted ads. No algorithm-driven distractions. Just the updates users actually care about.

The Problem Sociall Is Trying to Solve

Social media feeds are loaded with ads, suggested content, and posts from accounts people never followed. A 2020 study by the Promotional Products Association International (PPAI) found that ads make up between 20% and 42% of a typical user’s feed on Instagram and Facebook.

That number has likely only grown since then. Tyler Poe, Sociall’s founder and CEO, believes users have had enough.

“We’ve read the room,” Poe says. “People are tired of billionaire-run platforms turning them into a product. They don’t want to join a brand-new network with no users. They just want to keep up with their friends, family, and favorite creators—without the noise.”

What Sociall Does Differently

Instead of forcing users to switch platforms, Sociall integrates with existing social media accounts.

Key Features:

  • One Feed for Everything – Posts, reels, stories, and updates from major platforms appear in a single, streamlined feed.
  • Combined DM Inbox – No more switching apps just to check messages. Direct conversations from multiple platforms are housed in one inbox.
  • Post Everywhere at Once – Write one post and send it to Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok instantly.
  • Ad and Content Blocking – No ads, no suggested content, no distractions. Just the people and topics that matter.
  • Privacy Protection – Limits data collection to stop platforms from tracking personal habits and selling user information.

Sociall has been in development for two years, operating quietly while building the technology to go head-to-head with the biggest names in tech. The Kickstarter campaign, launched on February 25, gives early supporters access to the beta version, discounted subscription plans, and lifetime memberships.

Is This the Future of Social Media?

The major social networks aren’t likely to welcome Sociall with open arms. Their business models depend on advertising and user data. An app that blocks both is bound to cause friction.

But for users tired of constant tracking and intrusive ads, Sociall offers something refreshing: control. Instead of scrolling through a feed filled with distractions, people can get back to what social media was supposed to be about—staying connected.
