Attending SMX West 2017 in San Jose this week? Whenever I attend (and speak) at conferences, I like to take the time before the conference to look at the list of speakers. I’ve been speaking at and attending internet marketing and search marketing conferences for over 16 years now.
I’ve seen a lot of presentations. Some good, some bad. I’ve seen some memorable ones, like the time the speaker hired a professional magician to help with his presentation. Then there was the time that a speaker was going long (he kept talking) and was told to leave and stop speaking when the speakers for the next session walked into the room.
