Qunar Launches Travel Deals Search

Qunar.com, the biggest travel search engine in China, has launched their “travel deals search”. This search tool allows you to search for just about all travel services imaginable–everything from airline tickets to hotels to complete travel packages.
Qunar.com is a vertical search engine that focuses on providing comprehensive, accurate pricing information for all sorts of travel-related services, including flights and accommodations.
Using Qunar’s travel deal search, you can literally sit down with no destination in mind and plan and book your whole trip, choosing from all sorts of options being offered by thousands of travel service providers.
According to a recent survey of the structure and scale of the Chinese online travel and reservation market, booking hotels and airfare online is still the core business of the market–and is growing every day.
Launched in May 2005, Qunar.com has become one of the top travel media destinations in China. Qunar.com is recognized as the “new star” in the Chinese online travel market. Qunar.com offers an audience that represents China’s upwardly mobile new generation of consumers who are frequent travelers, comfortable with online transactions and willing to spend a significant amount of their disposable income on traveling to new and exciting places.
Did you know that Qunar means “Where are you going?” in Mandarin Chinese?

Cool! Qunar.com looks great. Thanks for the post but the Chinese language is making some difficulties. I used Google converter to understand the site.

The idea of a search engine based specifically around travel related searches is a good one. It would be nice to see the mainstream global search engines take a more active role in the travel industry by offering a search option tailored to travelers. This could be a good move in my view, as more and more people are planning holidays on their own.
Thanks for the post,
