I don`t think we`ll recognize Yahoo next year. I know quite a few people already using Bing (Cool bird`s eye view maps). Why would anyone want to see Bing results through Yahoo`s eyesÉ

popularity of google adwords & adsense may be one of the reason why yahoo is shutting down publisher network.
Google is most prefered for searches & have high traffic compared to other competitors.

Google ads have been a major reason for Yahoo to become a less interesting area for ads. The introduction of Bing and the cooperation with Yahoo has made it a lot more interesting to start looking at Yahoo again. Because Bing and Yahoo are smaller and less visited

Well, I hope they will announce the new publisher network soon. Adsense is great but I always looking for alternatives just in case. You never know when the big G will decide to shutdown your account for no reason and won’t give you a chance to correct any thing. There are other publisher networks out there like Chikita but unfortunately, they are no where near Adsense.

It’s sad but needs to happen. They never really seemed to get their act together. I remember meeting some of their team at Pubcon a few years back. They were very receptive to feedback but never acted on it to make the product better.
