Web Applications Developer Position, .NET, C#, ASP, SQL – Waco Texas Office

MarketNet.com, a leading Internet Services Firm in the Dallas, Texas area, is looking for exceptional, career minded individuals to join our team in our Waco, TX office. MarketNet provides Web Site design, Internet application development and online marketing services to a broad client base including Fortune 100 companies.

We are seeking a Web Applications Developer to join our applications development team. Candidate must have experience in the complete product development lifecycle including the gathering of requirements, writing technical design specifications, developing code, testing and deploying the final solution. The developer must have 1-2 years experience with .NET and must also have experience with ASP, SQL and C#. Experience with ASP.NET 2.0 and Visual Studio 2005 is preferred but not required.

Required Skills include:
– Excellent oral and written communications skills
– Minimum of 1 years application development experience ASP.NET, C#, XML, SQL 2000, HTML, JavaScript, IIS Web Services
– Experience with ASP.NET 2.0 and Visual Studio 2005 is preferred
– Experience working with version control software such as SourceSafe
– Experience developing queries and stored procedures in Microsoft SQL Server
– Able to work both independently and with a team depending on assignment
– UI Design Skills
– Proactive approach to problem resolution and ability to work in a fast paced environment
– Detail oriented and a team player

Other Requirements
– Four year Bachelor’s degree or graduate degree.
– Minimum 1 year’s software development experience.
– Must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent authorization to work in the U.S. as defined in the Immigration Act of 1986. No H1-B visa sponsorship will be provided.
