For one thing, indexing your search is going to eat up a whole lot of bandwidth due to the premium placed on videos and images. It definitely has potential, and I can see it being better than G M or Y for certain types of searches.

This is pretty slick, but I must confess, I am a sucker for eye candy. It definitely has potential, and I can see it being better than G M or Y for certain types of searches. Media stuff like art, movies and music for example.

I really like the concept of this. I think it encompasses most of what's hot and trendy on the web. I do think there is some room for improvement in the areas of speed and promotion. I think they have a very good start here so far.

Flash uses a small file called crossdomain.xml that allows Viewzi and other popular sites such as Yahoo!, YouTube, Flickr, and Amazon to load data from public API services.

Well, this is different. You get results from Yahoo and Google on one page. Takes a little time to load but at least you get hundreds of results on one page. Thanks for the info.

With google as the number one ranked search site I don't think it will be easy for they to come close.

Very promising product but I think this is still way ahead of its time. For one thing, indexing your search is going to eat up a whole lot of bandwidth due to the premium placed on videos and images. I'm on DSL and it's already eating up a chunk of my service connection so what more if you're on dial-up? And it's not like the biggest slice of the internet pie in America is on DSL when the truth is, most users are still on dial-up. And the search result returns are still a hit-and-miss affair so they can probably fine tune that some more. Sure, searching for "Corvette" returns a 100% hit on the car, but searching for "Jenna Jameson" gives me both the girl that I'm looking for plus some misplaced results like images of wildlife stuff and a wedding, with both having nothing to do with the Jenna Jameson I'm looking for! But still, I have to give them mad props for a slick interface that allows you to search your medium of choice.
