Top United Kingdom Internet Rankings for January 2008

comScore, Inc. has released its January 2008 rankings of the largest and fastest-growing Internet web properties and site categories in the United Kingdom. The rankings are based on data taken from the comScore World Metrix audience measurement service.

In January 2008, there was an increase to the travel, career, tax, and real estate web sites. This was mostly due to the people in the UK looking back at the last year and making future plans for 2008.

Moneysupermarket.com grew 79 percent to 6.6 million visitors, becoming the U.K.’s 20th ranked property in January 2008.

The data released by comScore is as follows:

  3. moneysupermarket.com is very big in the UK and provide price comparisons on all major companies based throughout the UK. When looking for a cheap holiday to Spain the site can offer some very good price comparisons.

  8. As far as I know, moneysupermarket.com did play spam action, how come they put on the list?

  9. Money supermarket dot com not only do holiday comparisons they will give a comparison on just about any thing you need a quote on.Holidays-insurance-mortgage-cars- the list goes on

  10. I’m surprised to see “BBC Sites” so high on the list. and even more surprised to see that eBay beats out Yahoo and Amazon. I didn’t think they were that popular in UK.
