Excellent post Bill,

More and more people are becoming aware of the need for an impressive online reputation. A search on Google Insights shows the upward trend for the term “Google CV” since 2005.

Definitely a fast growing market and something to be firmly embraced.

I’m also a fan of Google Alerts and I also from time to time would google my name just to see if there’s any news about me, not that I’m famous but just to see if somebody’s blogging about me.

The Internet nowadays give employers the chance to know more about their prospective employees. Be very careful of posting unnecessary stuff about yourself (ie.. drunk partying pics) on sites like Myspace or FaceBook.
