Is there an “accepted duplicate pings” – I realize that the ping services aren’t giving out any numbers but are you saying that your list, even though you may ping some services 3 or 4 times, won’t make the blacklist filter?

The list is compiled through a lot of different sources, and there originally were duplicates (some sources that had a ping list listed the same ones). So, filtering the list was necessary. Also, I suggest that you get the 'smart update pinger' plugin for WordPress (if you're using WordPress) which allows you to see which ping services are accepting the pings and which ones are not or are "busy". Looking at that plugin's log file will help you figure out which ones are best for you and your blog.
