Best Viral Marketing Campaign Ever? Carmen Bares All

A friend of mine forwarded a link to me today about a new movie called “Meet the Spartans”. I have embedded a link to an interesting video of Carmen talking about the movie.

You will have to watch the video in full to get more information about one of what I would call the best viral marketing campaign I have seen in a long time.

If you believe you are “up to the task” of participating in this viral marketing campaign, then you might take a look at this link to participate; and make sure that you send the link on to those who you think deserve to find out more about the new movie.

  1. This is great, lol

  2. I love it! Though…this movie is already out…or should I say was already out. It wasn’t what the studios would call a success…but still, you gotta love a good viral marketing campaign! :)

  3. I have to say that I read alot of your articles here this last hour and I have been enlightened on your knowledge of SEO.

Can you comment on some cost effective ways to build links back to your websites? I am personally trying to do this and have started some campaigns to contact people directly via their corporate addresses, but find it extremely hard to build credibility to get the links that I need.

  4. Barry, I haven’t looked at your site, but one thing that will help is to focus on the content of your site. Build content on a regular basis. If you have a blog on the site, consider writing blog posts that will help your industry and blog posts that others will be interested in reading. Once you have the content, keep in mind that you might want to start participating in social media more often. Even setting up social media profiles at sites will help get links back to your site.

  5. It’s It looks like their viral video campaign is a lot cleverer than the actual movie. I’m about to attempt a viral campaign myself so thanks for the heads-up!

  6. Hi Bill,

Just stopping by to check your “dofollow” for my list. Thanks for having a dofollow blog.
